First of all, thank you again to all the people that have left us prayers and notes of encouragement, it really helps keep us going, and we truly believe that the prayers are physically lifting TJ up right now. So here are a few interesting things:
- Last night two people were woken at 3:30am with the need to pray for TJ
- A couple nights ago (I forget which) four people were woken at 3:00am with the need to pray for TJ
- Two ICU nurses -- one from Rochester, one from Dallas -- who both said we don't know them, commented that we are having a huge impact on the staff
- Psalm 41:1-3 came up on Monday during prayer, and twice (separately) last night. It reads (NAS):
- How blessed is he who considers the helpless;
The LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble.
The LORD will protect him and keep him alive,
And he shall be called blessed upon the earth;
And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies.
The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed;
In his illness, You restore him to health.

Hi,
Make that three people woken up at 3:30 to pray for TJ. I was scheduled to pray an hour later for a prayer chain so I just continued! We're so thankful that
God is holding him so tightly!

I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes form the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth... THe LORD watches over you-the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalm 121 LORD watch over TJ's life right now.
I have been struck with the awesome way that tj continues to inspire and lead us, focusing our hearts and prayers in a way that is unifying and building us as team.
Have we ever been so galvanized in such fervent prayer?
God...heal our brother and bind us together. We praise you Holy name.
