Tj is waking up more quickly as they have stopped the pain med that was running. I asked them to do this since we really don't know if anything hurts and it is making it hard to assess mental status. White count down to 13,000. Other VS and sats look good. Will update later after TEE and chat with Pulmonologist. Infectious Disease doc is happy.

Praise God! Praise God! AND praise God again and again and again! Rejoicing with you, Mary Ann and Jon and Chip. At this season of the year, and as you spend it around the bedside of TJ may the words from Matthew 1:23 be your constant stay -

Mary Ann -- we are continuing to pray for TJ many times during the day. Praise God for the progress in the last several days. I praise God that he is with you, TJ and the family -- in "real time" to comfort and reassure you. Please know we don't post daily, but we are with you often during each and every day. Jeff
Praise God for His goodness! I'm continuously praying for TJ and also for you as a family. Most certainly this isn't the Christmas you would have planned for and chosen, but I'll be praying that you all will be enveloped by God's grace in Christ.
Praises to the baby who grew up - 100% man and 100% God. He knows human pain and suffering. He is with TJ at every turn. He knows every hair on his head. He is cradling him in his arms and loving him completely! He will continue to walk the journey with all of you and carry you when you need it. Merry Christmas!

Dear TJ and Mary Ann and family,
It looks like God is going to let you all be together with recognition of each other this Christmas. As I was out walking for two miles at dawn in deep snow, I was praying for you all. My spirit is amazed and thrilled at this turn around that God has wrought. To God be the glory! Reading from Isaiah 9 and 40 in devotions at breakfast, Isaiah 40: 11 stood out to me. It speaks about the gentle character of God with us all when we are weak. "He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young." With the words of Micah 7: 7, I stand with you all.
"Therefore, I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me." And miracle of miracles, our God has been hearing us all and we are seeing the proof in your reports. Love you,

Praise God! I have been keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers as I go through my days. Happy birthday to Jon! TJ's progress today is certainly a welcome Christmas/birthday present. May you all have a sweet and blessed Christmas together around TJ. We love you all.
How wonderful to watch this Christmas miracle! We continue to watch and pray and pray and praise! We're not letting up. We are however, thanking God for His healing hand.

Lord...I am so so thankful that you have a perfect plan. I am also thankful that Uncle TJ is waking up well and I especially thank you that you woke him up for Jonny's birthday, Christmas Eve and for YOUR birthday!! I am amazed by your will and I am still praying that you would heal Uncle TJ!!!!!! I am also praying that this would be a sweet time for the family and that they would have peace in these next days, especially because that is what you came to do so many years ago at this time of year and we claim that peace!!!!!!
