We are meeting as a staff to pray again for TJ at noon in the prayer at the office. We are asking God for Tim's complete recovery and for His continued grace and peace for each of you, his family. May God's incredable love fill your waiting moments and may you experience His continual presence lifting, holding and guiding you. Dante U. and Cher L (EFCA)
Our church in Seattle prayed for you yesterday too, and since I learned of all of this yesterday I have been praying for your whole family frequently. Thanks so much for all the info on this site. We'll be following along & praying for God's complete healing! Love, Sandy B.
Even those of us who go on short-term trips, consider Tim our leader. We are praying for his speedy recovery and for peace for all of his family members. Thanks for keeping us posted with this site. Praying for you in Lindstrom.
We pray God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. May He lead us all to a greater dependency upon Him, a deeper love for Him, an acute awareness of His constant presence with us, and an ever-increasing appreciation of His sovereignty in all matters. May this time of challenge in your family bring about far-reaching spiritual benefits in many lives around you so that God might be greatly glorified through your integrity of faith. Love Alan and Carol Hillis
Prayers are going up to the Lord from all over the world. The following is a message I received this morning from the Vice President of the Congo Free Church. ------------ Dear Kevin, We thank you for sharing us this important concern. We pray that the Lord raises up His servant for the precious work he has to lead. We will share this concern over all CECU in order to support him by the prayers.
In His Harvest, Ibengi -------------- TJ is being prayed for in hundreds of Congo Free Churches!
We continue to lift up Tim and family before the throne of GRACE! We know Tim's heart is totally for the Lord - for God's promises, His Word, His glory. As we read Psalm 119, we identify with Tim - God's faithful servant, and pray the Scriptures on his behalf. Below are some of the verses that we are claiming for Tim. Ps 119 - Vs 77 Let your compassion come to me that I may live... Vs. 88 Preserve my life according to your love Vs. 94 Save me - for I am yours. Vs 116 Sustain me according to your promise, and I WILL live Vs. 122 Ensure your servant's well-being. Vs 159 Preserve my life, O Lord, according to your love Vs 175 Let me live that I may praise you! Sharon and Sam M.
For security, please refer to "TJ", not, well, you know. His job is quite sensitive in some places. See A Little Blog Housekeeping for more information.
Calendar
For easy reference to what day a certain day was in 2007.
Some of the more important and popular posts (from December 2007): In and Out of the Fire: A basic timeline of TJ's entire stay in the hospital.
The Rest of The Story: A more detailed summary of how TJ got into the ICU in the first place, along with some of the bumps along the way. An Attempt At A Word Picture: What it's like to be in the ICU. Powerful Times: A bigger picture of the blog, the stay in the ICU, and TJ's comments on it before he knew what was going to happen. Genesis of a Blog: Why this got started, and why it blesses us.
What Are the Vitals?: An explanation of the vital signs we track and why they are important.
Sourcing Wikipedia
I'm sure that some of you have noticed that we link to Wikipedia quite a bit. There is a good reason for this, Wikipedia usually has the most complete information regarding whatever we are referencing. It generally pulls together many other sources that are considered "reputable" which are at the bibliography at the bottom.
So we do check out the article first and its sources, and it is usually pretty good. (If it's not we link to somewhere else.)
