TJ's endotracheal echocardiogram (see this post) has been postponed until tomorrow morning, because tube feeding needs to be stopped for six hours ahead of time. In the meantime, they are trying to find the source of the infection. To do so, they are changing all of TJ's various tubes and culturing them as they go.
At the present time his BP is doing pretty well *without* medication - praise! They are giving him medication to eliminate extra fluid in his body, so the fact that his BP is staying in an acceptable range is good. Tylenol is controlling his temperature to keep the fever down.
You can continue to keep today's requests in your prayers, and well as claim the Psalms over TJ. Thank you again for fighting alongside us!

Father, you do immeasurably more than all we ask or think because of your mighty power which you exerted when you raised Jesus Christ! We ask you, through that mighty name of Jesus, to miraculously heal TJ.

Agreeing with this prayer. Amen.

As one who only met TJ once for lunch and from that time blessed by his vision for the church world wide and his leadership I am praying with all the many others for our Lords miraculous intervention. These words from Isaiah 40:28-31 come to mind...."Don't you know that our Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. He give power to those who are tired and worn out, He offers strength to the weak......but those who wait on the Lord will find new strength......."
Dear Jon and Family,
Alongside you in prayer is exactly where we ask our Lord to place us, unless he needs us between you and anything that might bring harm - then we want to be there.
Dear TJ,
Someday I am trusting the Lord that you will read these many words from so many and know how beloved your life and ministry are to God and others. Until then, I pray for you, Mary Ann and family for continued strength as the battle for TJ's life continues. The blood pressure remaining stable is a wonderful sign. "Thank you, Lord!" Loving all of you.

When we pray the scripture, we transfer the burden to God's Word rather than our ability to pray correctly or adequately.
I am confident of this: I will see your goodness, Lord, in the land of the living. I will wait for you, Lord. I will be strong and take heart and wait for you. (Ps. 27:13-14)Prayers from Afton,MN
Dear TJ and Family,
May God's word in Hebrew 13:5 be your comfort at this moment: "I will never leave you nor forsake you." May His loving-kindness and faithfulness be the rod and staff that guide you through, may His promise of mercy and deliverance to those who love Him grant you peace and strenghen your hearts...
Our prayers are with you ...
