Evening Update

I meant to post this early, I am sorry for the delay.

TJ was up again today, and looked like he had more energy. He got his diet Coke with some ThickenUp, and read portions of the New York Times while sitting in a chair.

His ng tube was finally removed today, as he can swallow thick things (Mary Ann also brought in some real food). Finally, with the aid of a walker and a physical therapist he was able to walk 50 feet and back, which is a big deal.

TJ's personal goal is to be out of the hospital by the end of the week.

So that's the news for the day. Give thanks for the progress, and prayers that it continues!

P.S. For our unknown friends in Lincoln...

I read this out loud and the kids yelled halleluia! Yay! It's about time someone gave the man a Diet Coke. It's the least he deserves... ;-)We're still standing firm in prayer.

Welcome back Tim.

Love ya!

Wow and PRAISE THE LORD! HE IS ABLE! I pray that TJ's physical body is enabled to catch up with what is happening in the Spirit as a result of God's faithfulness to answer the prayers of the saints!

THANK YOU LORD and Bless the recovery time- giving You all the glory, Amen.

While the # of comments may be down, the thanksgiving has remained at a heightened pitch. It is such a blessing to be a part of His plan. We remain so humbled by His intervention in this. I am excited to know what He has in store for TJ once he is released and rested.

Thank you for keeping us informed.

Blessings,
Chris

Just got back from a vacation (no Internet available) and TJ has gone from ICU to Diet Cokes!! Praise God!! I'm surprised after a month in ICU that Tim can walk 50 feet -- that's great progress. We will continue to pray for strength and miraculous healing for his mitral valve. Jeff

I am so blessed to have been able to be a witness to another great miracle by the grace of God! He is so awesome! I praise Him!

It may take TJ several weeks (months) to be able to comprehend all that occurred in his body. I was kept quite sedated after two back surgeries a week apart, and I still ask my husband questions as I try to sort it all out! It is like being totally out of touch with everyone and then trying to put the puzzle pieces together. This wonderful blog is sure to help him understand!

I pray for his homegoing to be pronto! God bless you all. Keep up the great sense of humor. It is a great way to resolve stress.
Love in Christ,
CP

Dear TJ, Mary Ann and family,

What a glorious report! Walking! Reading the New York Times. The ng tube finally removed! To God be the glory--great things He hath done! Can't stop praising the Lord with you all. Isn't God's grace incredible?! Loving you and rejoicing with you today! Claiming Philippians 1: 6 for you all in this battle--that what God has begun physically, He will complete.

Hey TJ - I am still planning on us being on a river somewhere in June/July. Keep making progress. We continue to lift you and your family up and give praise for your recovery.
