Not Really An Update...

Shortly after writing that we would have more to say, I realized that we really don't.

TJ was at least as awake today as he was yesterday, conversing, and still after a diet Coke they won't let him have.

It will still be a long road to recovery, and as noted, we still have that whole mitral valve bit.

The visitor policy is still limited, we really wore TJ out today.

Thank you all for your prayers, past and continuing, they really carried us through this.

Still praying...rejoicing over the change of rooms, his communicating, his desire for a diet coke and being able to eat something. Praying for complete recovery and for God to bless and care for each of you as you support TJ.

Lord God, You are able. We are calling to You on behalf of TJ and asking that You intervene and show us Your healing power and prevent him from having to go through that surgery. We stand together around the world continually in agreement for the complete healing of his mitral valve, in Jesus name. Thank You for all You have done thus far and there is great expectancy for all You will continue to do. You are an Awesome God! Praises, glory and honor to Your Name, Amen.
P.S. Fasting diet cokes!!

In Lincoln, we have been checking the blog and praying for TJ and the whole family thru this time.

PLEASE after all he's been & going thru, do not encourage him to add diet Coke to his body. Do us a favor and do a google check on the word "aspartame". The last thing TJ needs is to add that to his body. I, personally spent a couple months with visits to a neurosurgeon trying to decipher my unusual symptoms. They thought I had MS. Another medical professional suggested removing all forms of aspartame from my diet for 3 weeks. After the 1st week ALL my symptoms of MS disappeared. This is very serious and for someone whose body is struggling to combat all TJ is, please don't encourage ingesting aspartame. Love you guys too much to not have shared with you.
Now living a thriving, healthy life! God IS good! Praising Him for TJ's progress.

I was without my computer for three days while driving to FL. How exciting to get on this morning and see all the good news! Out of ICU- that's fantastic. I'm glad you are feeling better, Mary Ann. I hope Chip is doing better too. Will continue to follow the progress from FL. If you need some warmth for recovery we have guest bedrooms. Keeping praying! Love you, Joni

Hmmmm!! Fasting diet cokes....sounds like a plan that God would get a huge smile from. No diet cokes for me until TJ has a diet coke. While some of you may think it silly if you drink it daily you will understand.

This is my first time to the blog site. It is wonderful to hear the progress with TJ. We have been getting updates from Pastor Brad, but he has been on vacation for the last couple of weeks, and I needed an update to pass onto my email group "Circle of Friends". We have been praying for TJ since the beginning. It was a huge thing for us, as we had just gone through a very similiar situation with another Pastor from MI at Thanksgiving time. We will continue to pray for a speedy recovery. Praise GOD.

Dear TJ and family,

Sitting up in bed? Sitting in a chair? Receiving visitors? On the hunt for a Diet Coke? These are huge! Muriel and I will continue to pray daily. You have been on our top five list of people we pray for ever since you went into ICU. I head for Thailand on January 16th. Pastor Don and I will teach a course on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.

Warmly in Christ.

TJ. I've been checking in on you every day, and have shared this particular example of the phenomenon of extended family with many who can't understand these mysterious but very powerful ties that bind us together. And make our lives rich.

Your HK brother. MA.
