New Stats, Looking Forward

As the doctors make their rounds this morning, TJ's vitals continue to make slow, but good, progress. His temperature is still not normal, but continues to trend downward. His white blood cell count is at 18,000, so also continuing downward. The pressure on his ventilator is the same, but his sats are staying up consistently. His chest x-ray also looks better this morning. They are removing his sedation, but he is not waking up very quickly.

This afternoon is really going to be critical for TJ as he begins to wake up, so that is our biggest prayer request for today, as well as yesterday's requests. This afternoon could be "exciting and quick-moving" as changes happen and decisions need to be made about TJ's ability to breathe on his own. Your petitions have brought him this far, and they will be critical this afternoon! Keep up the fight!

Continuing to pray (and convey your requests to my family)...
Particularly praying for T's comfort throughout the next days of tube handling, that his systems will take up the work these amazing machines have been doing, and that he will only experience relief as they're removed--and that nothing needs to be reintruduced.

Dear Mary Ann and family,

The narrow winding path sometimes leads through the rugged hills. But "He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake." Just knowing today that the Lord Jesus is leading the way from TJ being on the ventilator to his being able to breathe on his own is comforting. Jesus is leading the way. He will guide you through this amazing transition. Do not be afraid. Continuing the battle in prayer on our knees.

I awoke last night at exactly 3:00 am. (The enemy gets up in the dark
to pray at exactly that time so the battle needs light - beacons of light - to fight for TJ.)

Remember that God is WITH us - IMMANUEL -- and will walk with TJ as he is 'born' again into life, breathing on his own. May His Spirit intercede with words beyond our understanding and may His breath be IN Him.

Also with you in spirit - Beacon

well, you know I do not know what an HTML tag is !but I do know it is coming up on Jon's birthday and then Christmas! Remember to tell TJ what the date is and that MaryAnn and Jon are waiting for their present!
Which would be for TJ to wake up !

Praise God for this good news. He is faithful, and this massive outpouring of prayer is bearing fruit. We will continue praying for TJ to wake up and for a successful weaning from machines and medications. Christmas is an awesome day on it's own, but to add the Joy of even better news on that day for TJ and his family family is also in our prayers.

Still praying. In the powerful name of Christ our King, may we claim victory for this day. Father, in the name of your son Jesus, I ask for a miracle today. I ask for the family to get their husband and father back. I ask for no regression from this point on. We continue to bring TJ before the throne in the firm and steadfast knowledge that you are the one and only king. Be with Him today our comforter.

We are praying without ceasing. Lord God, wake TJ. Breathe your breathe of life into him. Help him breath on his own without interventions. Return his temp and other stats to normal. Clear his lungs and continue to heal him fully. Please give comfort and strength to TJ, MA and sons.
May you be honored. In Jesus name we pray.

Our prayer this morning for tj - "Lord of all - Lord who breathes life into all of creation, come today and breathe life and health afresh this day into tj's lungs. We pray that very soon he will no longer need a ventilator as you strengthen his respiratory muscles and his coordinated breathing mecahnism kicks in properly. We pray tj will be able to cough up the junk in his chest and the lungs will clear in what doctors say is record time. God of wisdom, we ask you to give wisdom moment by moment. And we also ask for joy today ---may there be much joy in the journey as there is steady and remarkable progress along the way. Our eyes are on you, lord. All glory to Jesus - in Jesus victorious name we pray. Amen."

It's about 1:30 p.m. your time, and God put it on my heart to pray, so I checked up on the latest there. I'm asking for no more need for a ventilator as of today--like one of you said, we can ask our loving Father and trust His answer! We are not forgetting you all; you are in our prayers throughout the day. Bon courage!

All of you continue to be in our prayers on a daily basis. The way you've handle this situation and your call for prayer has been a testimony to me and many others around the world. I believe God has even greater things in mind for TJ and the rest of you as a result of this very trying situation. We love you.
